"Run across You Again" is a vocal by American rapper Wiz Khalifa, featuring American vocalist-songwriter Charlie Puth. It was commissioned for the soundtrack of the 2015 picture Furious 7 every bit a tribute to role player Paul Walker, who died in a unmarried-vehicle accident on November thirty, 2013. It was also shortlisted for the Song of the Year for the BBC Music Awards and was nominated for Best Original Song at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards.[3] "Run into You Once again" was the best selling-vocal of 2015 worldwide, with combined sales and rail-equivalent streams of twenty.ix million units according to IFPI.[4]

Writing and development [edit]

"See You lot Again" was written by DJ Frank E, Charlie Puth, Wiz Khalifa, and Andrew Cedar. Its climb into the top ten was the nautical chart's biggest since Katy Perry'south "Roar" (2013).[17] In its fifth week, "See Y'all Again" sold 464,000 copies and rose from number ten to number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The song marked Khalifa'south second number one on the nautical chart, post-obit "Black and Yellow" (2011), and Puth'due south first.[18] It topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 12 non-consecutive weeks. In New Zealand, "Encounter You lot Again" debuted at number 34 on the New Zealand Singles Chart dated March 30, 2015.[31] It topped the chart in its third week, becoming Khalifa and Puth's first number one single in the country.[32] In Australia, "See You Again" rose from number 59 to number one on the Australian Singles Chart issued for April eleven, 2015, marking Khalifa and Puth's first number one hit on the nautical chart. Synopsis [edit]

The video begins with a shot of a cliff elevation at sunset, followed by Khalifa walking down a highway road. Wiz Khalifa also performed the song at the 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards. On Jan 31, 2020, Khalifa and Puth also performed "See You lot Again" live during halftime of a Portland Trail Blazers-Los Angeles Lakers game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles as a tribute to Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and vii other victims of the Calabasas helicopter crash.[49]
